Memory is not a specific event but a bunch of feelings, sounds, smell, emotion, images. It could be wrong, it could make mistakes. Reversely, sounds, smell, emotion can evoke our memories. Memories could be misleading, we should stay away from small pieces and BE ALERT. #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently

The thought of not taking everything fiction as false. Although genres apply to both fiction and nonfiction, I feel like genres are like the Dewey decimal system for fiction. So seeing things like sci-fi, adventure, thriller, action, etc. #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently

HWA 3 showed me that our memories are kind of what we make them. When there are missing pieces, our imagination steps in and fills them, and after a while, we can basically trick ourselves into believing those made-up details are true. #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently

It resonated with me to hear that performance does not mean you are fake. It was an eye opening thing to hear because it's so easy to forget how much performance is done on an every day basis. Delivering with intention is still real #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently

One thing from hwa#3 that made me think differently was how narrators of a certain genre can be unreliable because they choose what elements to include when telling a story. #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently

Something that changed my thoughts on memory was when we came to the conclusion that memory is really not the truth but the percieved truth that we make through the ways we interact with the world and our emotions tied to that memory. #hwa3 #thinkingdifferently
