They changed when and where Riou meets Tuta and Gengen for the very first time 😳
Looks like Tuta was the one who healed Riou in the anime whereas, in the game, he joins Riou and Gengen for an errand.

A subtle reference to genso suikogaiden volume 1’s introduction cutscene maybe? 🤔

When Prince Luca Blight orchestrated the massacre of the Unicorn Youth Brigade as part of his masterplan at the very beginning of the game.
In the game he did not personally slice down the soldiers with his own sword.

No Barbara in sight and it looks like, in the anime, Pohl tells Riou to do the laundry outside, instead of him going to the stockroom, do some cleaning then get some pair of boots and 3 flints at the blacksmith like in the game.

Young Marco Atreides, biological son of Marcel Atreides & step son of Rosa, and Jowy’s step brother.
Never appeared in the game as a kid.

Even though this episode felt a little rushed, the anime seems to flesh out moments which the game skipped over. Such as Jowy being rescued by Joanna, Marx and Pilika in toto 😊
