@djkeng.bsky.socialFinally, it got a little complicated with “Now Uhura” and “Future Uhura” but I indulged a bit with my final #BestLines compilation from the #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #Season4Finale #TomorrowsEnterprise
@djkeng.bsky.socialThe season finale of #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #TomorrowsEnterprise tipped its hat to the 2000 film #Frequency with Nyota Uhura communicating with her future self.
It put Scotty in peril, Jim Kirk in the captain’s seat, and everyone in the fashions of TOS.
@djkeng.bsky.socialFor an episode steeped in fantasy and seasoned with the ridiculous, #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 9 #OnceLaanATime contained some really thoughtful and reflective lines in presenting shadow selves of all the main crew members.
@djkeng.bsky.socialTPTB pulled double duty with #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime in reintroducing the Kingdom of Elysian AND MAXimizing the #CarolKane content by sending up #ThePrincessBride
Talk about pulling out ALL the stops in terms of costumes! 😍
@djkeng.bsky.socialAs far as homages to #CrimsonTide go, #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 8 #OrdersOfMagnitude delivered some fantastic edge-of-madness scenes.
#PaulWesley facing down #JoeMorton resulted in some brilliant lines in speaking truth to power.
@djkeng.bsky.socialFrom soaps to subs, #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #OrdersOfMagnitude brought the epic #JoeMorton to the Enterprise as a #BADmiral for the ages.
@djkeng.bsky.socialAdmittedly, it was hard to capture the essence of overacting conveyed in the delivery of lines on #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 7 #LikeChronitonsThroughTheHourglass but I gave it the Q Proctor Course try!
@djkeng.bsky.socialWhatever your personal feelings around soap operas, you have to admit #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds leaned in with commitment on the genre with #LikeChronitonsThroughTheHourglass
With both #RhysDarby and #DeirdreHall guest starring, this was a delight to sink into.
@djkeng.bsky.socialThe #BestLines from #OffHour were a mix of tension-breaking humour and emotional determination.
@djkeng.bsky.socialNext is the review of #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 6 #OffHour an homage to real-time thrillers like #24 and #ThePoseidonAdventure. Honestly, a little too ick for me, but hugely successful as a tension-builder
@djkeng.bsky.socialMy Best Lines compilation from #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 5 #LevelFiveTransporterAccident included some of my favourites of the season including “Gratitude is irrelevant.” LLAP #TPring

@toproudlygo.orgAt our #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 finale celebration, we had the incredible pleasure of sitting down with #KarimDiané, who brings #Jay-DenKraag to life — Star Trek’s first openly gay Klingon!
