It used to be better/fine when she was little, but it worsened after Aulus' experiments (because he was changing her phenotype to be more water-aligned).

A'ides is the one who finally convinced her to take it seriously and wear glasses full time.

She has nictitating membranes that cover her eyes when her horns begin to submerge, which make her vision correct for salt water. In fresh water it's a little blurry.

Obv uncovered her vision is different but I always wrote that it wasn't fantastic 🤔

Travel advice #setanosou #estinien #alphinaud

SOU SETA, the new era's AZEM: "This is your first time doing corporeal travel to a totally unrejoined reflection, ye?" ALPHI: "It's a first for _anyone_ but _you_." ESTI is also listening. SOU: "There's only *1 thing* I need to *warn* you about that's *different* from how things were in Norvrandt or Yyasulani." SOU, very seriously: "You're going to feel very" ALPHI and ESTI listen carefully. SOU, gravely: "**very**" ALPHI listens with trepidation. ESTI listens.SOU: "hungry." ALPHI: "AOUGH I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOINGBTO WARN US OF SOMETHING _DANGEROUS_" ESTI: "heh" ESTI, hand on a pouting ALPHI's shoulder: "Hunger can be a danger to morale, Alphinaud. Don't try to tough it out." SOU: "I'm sure the others would explain it more technically, but my understanding is it's the different aetheric density between your body and the food." ("So if you need bentĹŤ from home, just let me know, OK?") ESTI: "Ohh. Like how I was, after I awoke fused with Nidhogg." SOU: "Yea probably" SOU: "Dragons aren't sundered" ALPHI, with concern and guilt: "And... how... did you... cope with that...?" ESTI, oblivious: "Toughed it out" ALPHI, facepalming: "(screams)"

ZERO: Don't summon me. I won't come. SOU SETA, holding back tears: ...you wouldn't...? ZERO: ... Sou Seta. It was a jest. SOU: OH Y'shtola and Golbez are both pretty sure this is pathetic, but it's not really their place to say so right now
