For my promotion, here's the story that I've been talking about:

It features the city I discussed in Septopolis.

I just want to say thanks for this month's writing prompt from Khonri. It was a lot of fun, and I feel like in a way I learned an incredible amount of new things about the Hidden Oasis, too, and the Starflow River Valley, due to 🧵
I was given an assignment by @khonri.com at the start, so here's a Tzin City tourism poster!
The only thing I have to promo is my slow descent into madness with my #Octember prompt game starting tomorrow!
I'm totally not panicking. Totally not.
Thanks for hosting this, @khonri.com . I had already planned out much of Arcadia for years, but your game here let me discover how certain aspects can not make it into the story proper and still come through somehow.
Since it's also DV pit day im doin that if you wanna learn about the book i have ready to go, but I'm also gonna second going out to learn local history. You probably have a local museum/historical society full of passionate folks who would love to see you! (Just check their hours 1st!)
I will keep my promo light as I am saving that for a little later in an attempt to crush a goal.
Speaking of goals i'd rather thank Khonri and all the writers doing these games. This month was really detail oriented on things i hadn't delved a lot into.

Thanks for hosting again, Khonri! Because of this game, both Arx Lucis AND Capria went from "idk, place??" to developed settlement with a clear identity. At this rate I'll need to give you a writing credit in #Charagma! 😂
Can't do much city exploring today, but maybe this weekend! ❤️
Omg, Im not going to reply-bomb our host, but THANK YOU KHONRI!!!🥰🥰🥰
Such a fun and useful game! Parts of my 5GC are really coming together through these and Im getting closer to setting more stories there🥰
Also, I was very much enjoying watching other city builders hammer...

Thank you SO much for hosting #Septopolis! I didn't just get Chevrefoil much more fleshed out: I gave a lot more depth to casual elven culture and infrastructure, fleshed out the barometz more, and had so many unexpected connections to the characters click! So excited to get back to writing again!
I had many unworkable ideas about the Redwood communities when I started this month's prompt. I had vibes, but little in the way of grounding detail. My thanks to @khonri.com and everyone who showed interest and encouragement for my setting. It was very heartening. 🥰 🧵1/5
Which means, of course, that it will almost certainly become absolutely vital at some point.
Thanks for doing all this work, @khonri.com !!
I think the most interesting thing I learned through this was to Take Big Swings. And I know I didn't take nearly enough, though I did plant my flag on the existence of Elementals, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that pans out in the larger work. #Septopolis

The thing i learned about my city in question is that i spent waaayyy too little time in it in the story to know very many details of it at all, but then that's probably normal for a Voyage type story.

Today I will thank our host by listing some of the things that this Septy forced me to LEARN about this month:
- How to repair/maintain steel (and bronze)
- Seashell weight/durability
- Beekeeping and its byproducts
- Iron Age water supply/sewage systems
- How the Mafia is organized
#Septopolis 30. Thanks for hosting, Khonri!
It was fun to explore the hellscape of Or̉el̉īs, even though I missed a few important days. Exploring the geography has helped a lot already, though; before, the city was "floating," and now I can picture it much better and have ideas for Hot̉arū's story.

Thank you @khonri.com, this was a lot of fun, once again, and I learned a lot! I started out with only the vague idea that a flying city existed in Nemoria and a recently acquired name, and now I have a solid idea of what sort of place this is, and even got myself to make some art!
30) Outro
Thanks for hosting @khonri.com ! I had fun and this prompt game was really helpful for fleshing out my city. I have a much better idea of how it works, just in time for my story to arrive there! How serendipitous!
Watch this space for more! Welcome to Platypus Station.

As per a request you made earlier Khonri. Thank you for another amazing month of prompts 💜
It's been great playing along with y'all!
