#RobinOfSherwood S2 E2 is a return to form. The focus on the Jewish family is interesting in itself, but it’s the Robin & Will power struggle that really engages. Top scene is the row between the two in the forest after Tuck is injured. Rating 4/5. #RobinHood #80s #80sTV #ClassicTV

#RobinOfSherwood S2 E1 The Prophecy. Not the most auspicious start to S2. Script is on the weak side, the directing even more so. The fight scenes are flat and jokey. No stand out scenes either, though the old prisoner is hilarious every time he appears. Rating 2/5. #RobinHood #80s #ClassicTV #80sTV

#RobinOfSherwood S1 E6 The King’s Fool is a cracker! Rating 5/5. Robin falls under the spell of Richard the Lionhearted. Great scenes abound in this one but my fave is the dressing down Little John gives Robin in the barn. Good bit of acting there. #ClassicTV #80s #80sTV #RobinHood

#RobinOfSherwood S1 E5. The Alan A Dale episode. The titular character is a drip, but the Sheriff’s get-rich marriage plot compensates. Rating 3/5 (the bees are a proper funny fail). Best scene is between the bride-to-be and Gisburne as he fetches her for the ceremony. Tender. #ClassicTV #80sTV #80s
