I support UBCM resolution EB15. Revelstoke has a longstanding Bear Smart program and we’re nearing official Bear Smart community certification application once our secure garbage bins and organics collection are ready next year. This program helps us save so many avoidable bear deaths. #Revelstoke

One effect is the resolutions seem more niche, novel, targeted, or about an issue that’s relatively new. Like this one from the CSRD advocating for licensing for drones to treat mosquito larva, which I support to augment treatment in #Revelstoke. It is pretty niche, though.

Ann's grandfather was Canadian and came to England for WWI. There he met Ann's Grandmother and the pair where married and they went to Canada. Ann's father was born in #Revelstoke. In 1921 Ann's Grandfather was killed in the Pallisser Train Accident and his wife and child returned to England.
