We are halfway through the proclamations.
Right now we are on "Legendary Teacher Day in Pima County."

Good evening, #Tucson. I'll be doing my best to give you the play by play from the #PimaSupes meeting.
FWIW @tucsonagenda.bsky.social reporter @akimbelsannit.bsky.social will be at tonight’s #TucsonCouncil meeting while I am at #PimaSupes.
I am going to #PimaSupes tonight, but I stopped by a small protest in front of #Tucson City Hall.
The (Tucson chapter) of the Democratic Socialists of America is protesting #TEP’s #Proposition421, a 25 year franchise agreement with the City of Tucson.
And THAT wraps up my coverage of the #PimaSupes.
County Administrator Jan Lesher says there were lessons learned with Project Blue, but that the county is committed to hearing from everyone in the county, even if their opinions are in the minority. And assures those opinions will be shared with the #PimaSupes in a timely fashion.
The #PimaSupes are very, very close to wrapping up.
Thanks to everyone who followed my live posts tonight, I appreciate it.

To clarify, this would table the request from the Pima County Regional Affordable Housing Commission for $1 million for gap funding indefinitely.
FWIW, the #PimaSupes approved $8.7 million in budgeted funding that supports building affordable housing.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard the word "Votemobile" at #PimaSupes meeting this year, but it makes a lot of sense.
There are VERY rural parts of Pima County.
Fun fact: Pima County is geographically larger than New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island.
Next up, the #PimaSupes get an "After-Action Report" about the 2026 Primary Election from the Pima County
Elections Director Constance Hargrove and Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cázares-Kelly.
The #PimaSupes pass the substation permit for TEP.
By TEP's own admission, there are two nearby substations and they manage about 100 substations in Pima County.
The #PimaSupes considers approving a 138KV Power Substation Permit just southwest of the
T-intersection of W. Ajo Highway and S. Spencer Avenue.
The six-point letter from the Tucson Mountains Association shows outlines their concerns, ranging for pole height and dark skies.
That wraps up call to the public.
We move on to the real big items for tonight's meeting.
The big question is whether a majority of the #PimaSupes will back it, as the million dollar ask would come out of county's contingency fund.
I prefer the term "rainy day" fund, but I know that triggers some ... accountants/bureacrats/elected officials.
Only five speakers tonight for Call to Public at today's #PimaSupes.
Everyone gets three minutes to speak their mind.
Before we get to Call to the Public and my usual concenrs about covering this time-honored tradition to speak directly to the #PimaSupes (and staff) - I want to remind everyone that today's live blogging is possible from the paid subscribers of the @tucsonagenda.bsky.social.
Thanks to all of you.
Next up, is #PauseForPaws. The #PimaSupes bring in one adorable resident from Pima Animal Care Center at each meeting.
Today, is a 7 month old puppy named Sherlock.
