I didn’t have enough energy tonight to set up and play the next Pillage scenario so I just built some of the terrain instead.

Twice now, I have had my scenery warped by PVA glue (watered down in both cases). Once on cardboard, and once with MDF.

Question: What glue do people use to avoid this?

Pillage introductory set just arrived. I’m setting up the introductory scenarios so I can play through the tutorials tonight.

The terrain is from the wrong era… I just grabbed what was already on the table.

More proof of (hobby) life: WIP Crusader Miniatures late Roman infantry. Shield transfers from LBMS/Victrix and Litko trays.

Background stuff is a mix of Mantic, @fenrisgames.com bits and rocks from outside on @warbases.bsky.social pieces.

Proof of (hobby) life: a dodgy shot of some WIP daubage on one of the huts from the Pillage starter box.

Not entirely sure about the thatch yet, may revisit that at some point.

Very nice model, though. Loads of detail.

Court shenanigans from earlier today (colorized).

Would have been amusing if the stakes weren't so high.

I am very pleased that it's Friday.

I have a hot date with a proper fry-up (with chips), plastic buildings for Pillage and sundry rattlecans.

Looks like a siege will soonish be on the menu! Here’s half the wall nearly done. Got to get the capstones on, the stairs done and the putlocks filled up with some railings. So yeah that ‘soon’ will probably still take a while. #nerdlings #wargaming #baronswar #warhammercommunity #pillage
