There seems to be a lot of white squiggly lines throughout the painting, however I cannot tell if that's actually there or just the video quality. So, I also noticed how some of the background decals overlap with the rocks at the bottom. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

I think the hat he’s wearing is an important detail that people might overlook. Without the hat the feeling of a successful conqueror is off. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

#hwa3 #onesmalldetail I think the names on the rocks are overlooked, I didnt notice them untill you zoomed in. I dont know what they mean or what they stand for but I feel its purposeful for them to be overlooked.

One small detail in Wiley's painting that, I believe, most people overlook, and that matters, is the names engraved on the rocks. I think they symbolize something important that Ashley will cover later, potentially! #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

#hwa3 #onesmalldetail I feel like a detail people might miss is the ground that the horse is standing on, and I find it interesting that is is very uneven and it even looks like some of the stones on the ground have writing on it

the names featured on the rocks were easily missed at first but i'd bet the farm they are a vital aspect of this piece. They likely point to a greater theme. #hwa2 #onesmalldetail

One small detail I noticed was the clothing. It makes the painting feel more modern. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

One small detail I noticed is the names carved into the rocks. Napoleon, Hannibal, and Charlemagne are all famous historical leaders. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

#hwa3 #onesmalldetail I think that one detail that people don’t notice is the symbol that’s on the red wallpaper is still visible on the rocks. I think it might be important because it blends those two backgrounds together making it more unified

I notice that the person feels very still and calm. This highly contrasts with the horse in motion which creates this authority I assign to him #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

One small detail that’s important is the names on the rocks. The names are all military leaders and emperors, which I think is important because it places a colored individual at the same level, or higher, of importance, which was historically not done in artwork. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

One small detail I think people would overlook is the fact that the man in the new art piece is not napoleon and is wearing a normal army uniform we are used to now. #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

I think one small detail in Wiley's painting that is overlooked is the camo outfit that he's wearing as opposed to Napolean's "royal" like robe. I think this is an important contrast that highlights modern sweetwear with military dress code.
