A medium that feels so "normal" in my life that it disappears is social media. I cannot lie, sometimes I will be on TikTok doomscrolling, forgetting that a phone is in my hand. A way to design an anti-environment to expose it is to force myself to realize how toxic it is. #hwa2 #normalmedium

I think a medium that is so normal is having our locations on at all times for people to see. It is causing me to have no privacy. And what I would do is stop checking others, and shutting off my location for people who don't need it and show myself it is extremely unecessary. #hwa2 #normalmedium

3. thinking hard, it’s honestly the recommended videos I get on youtube. i click on them without even thinking about why it’s on there. I’d place a time limit on how much i use it because it makes me feel envious of those who could experience things i want to #hwa2 #normalmedium

3. A medium that’s so normal in my life is my phone. I constantly use it to receive information and interact with others, so it acts like an extension of me. To expose it I would go a long period of time without it, which will allow me to notice it. #hwa2 #normalmedium

A medium so normal in my life is my Apple Watch. It's even on when I sleep, vibrates and pings every time I get a notification. It's more a part of me rather than a technological accessory. The anti-environment would be amplifying my watch to bass speakers for the world to hear.

#hwa2 #normalmedium I would use the phone as an example, its so common, its everywhere. I use it on the toilet in class at dinner, while driving, its like a third arm or another limb. I like the idea of placing it in the freezer, removing the phone from yourself and allowing it to pause.
