@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialidk how to react to the jazz making consistent defensive transition stops
like is this real? they have been the worst transition defense in basketball for years and all the sudden they are poking the ball out from behind and contesting vertical at the rim? 🤔

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🧊🧊🧊
okay i officially can say ice brice is back as he drains his signature 3 from the left slot
43-36 UTA | 7:49 • 2Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialzay & brice are so much better than these random spurs players it is kinda funny to watch 😂
timeout san antonio
they just said the jazz are shooting 60% from the field
40-28 UTA | 9:40 • 2Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialthe jazz players seem to think jackson hayes (still a domestic abuser btw) can just catch any pass thrown towards the paint 😂
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
the jazz are seriously like 2 good defenders away from being able to dominate their opponents for 4 quarters
**and ace bailey has a high chance of being 1 of those 2 guys**
unfortunately, we can’t even guard harrison barnes in 2026
33-26 UTA | End 1Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social♠️♠️♠️
ace bailey just ghost screened off zay into the short role and converted a quick turn around jumper
he had a perfect lob pass a few possessions prior in the P&R
he is the most active jazz defender
he is unbelievably good 😂

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🔑🔑🔑
keyonte is a fucking star
the jazz are getting so many steals and have no clue how to convert in transition off of them 😭
JJJ travels for the first utah turnover
25-17 UTA | 2:59 • 1Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialace bailey just stole an inbound pass under the basket and threw an outlet pass to lauri for windwill dunk in transition
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
jazz seem to be using a pre-switched defense that then switches both on & off ball screens & trades off players crossing above/below the free throw line
it is NOT working, but damn that’s a lot to have to communicate
timeout jazz
13-11 UTA | 7:24 • 1Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialwhat a play ‼️
keyonte drives the left slot and hits a skip pass to JJJ in the corner, who swings it to Lauri on wing for wide open 3 as the shot clock expires
8-3 UTA | 9:24 • 1Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialdarryn peterson draws a charge on julian champagnie very early on in this one
looked like champagnie was guarding dp on the other end too. kind of lame that their 1 serious player is taking the rookie assignment 😂

@brooklynbuckets.bsky.socialMan, Nelson is so active on the offensive glass! Also a couple of nice sequences of team defense by this lineup, including forcing one shot-clock violation. 👏 On the downside, Saraf kind of looks afraid to shoot, especially from deep. 🏀 ⚫️⚪️ #NetsWorld #BrooklynNets #NetsSky #NBA #NBASky #NBAPreseason
