@fifthacecomics.orgI'm okay with the fact that we may never get Season 3 of Nocturne; it would overstaying its welcome, and the original show already made that mistake.
They tried to top beating mo'foing Dracula, I don't want them to try and top beating a literal goddess.
@fifthacecomics.orgOop, my mistake, Drolta has a second wind; unfortunately for her, Richter just went Super Saiyan Blue and got the Z-Sword, so this should be quick.
@fifthacecomics.orgI honestly thought that fight would last longer, but it was legitimately entertaining in a way that I haven't seen in this show since Dracula v. Alucard back in original show.
@fifthacecomics.orgDrolta is a demi-god now, she has 9th level spell slots and can cast Time Stop.
@fifthacecomics.orgChris Redfield can punch boulders, but Richter Belmont can volleyball them while they're on fire.
@fifthacecomics.orgFinale time, baby; here we go!
@fifthacecomics.orgOh Ed Asner, whether you are J. Jonah Jameson, Officer Cosgrove, or even an adorable kitty familiar, you are sorely missed.
@fifthacecomics.orgSomething I've noticed re: the Avalon World Tour:
Whenever the protags are in danger, Goliath scoops up Elisa and leaves Angela to grab Bronx.
Goliath, I get it, but Angela is half your size, and Bronx likely weighs twice as much as Elisa; cut your kid some slack.
@fifthacecomics.orgTime for one of the best episodes ever: "Almost Got 'im."
@fifthacecomics.orgNgl, for a song written exclusively for one episode of a cartoon, "Demon in Me" slaps.
@fifthacecomics.orgRory being called out by his dad to get a job is painfully relevant to me right now.
Pity I'm not about to find a magic stick and find out that I'm a hero of legend; wouldn't that make a great excuse for not getting my life in order?
@fifthacecomics.orgI know it's a kid's show and all, and it might have given the plot away too soon, but they were cowards to not give Francine Langstrom bat-boobs.
@fifthacecomics.orgScorpia and Seahawk bonding over mutual loneliness and unappreciation is everything.
@fifthacecomics.orgThat's... a freaking... DRAGON!
@fifthacecomics.orgI always forget that CCH Pounder has voiced so many more roles than just Amanda Waller, but she's unmistakable.
@fifthacecomics.orgIt's the D&D episode!
@fifthacecomics.orgAh, Anubis voiced by the late, great Tony Jay; as a huge fan of Soul Reaver, hearing the voice of the Elder God again is pure nostalgia.
Also, is the ceremony with the sacred leaves and the Scroll of Thoth a reference to The Mummy's Hand? Can't be a coincidence.
@fifthacecomics.orgThey follow up the furry episode with the werewolf episode; were the writers on a kick of some kind?
Also, a werewolf who just happens to be called Anthony Romulus? Real sublte, guys.
@fifthacecomics.orgI don't know yet if I'll make this part of my #MorningCartoonLineup or if I'll binge it separately during my work hours; we'll see where I can squeeze it in, since it's only 1 season.
@fifthacecomics.orgI want to put Avatar on my #MorningCartoonLineup and do a full rewatch of Aang and Korra to lead into Seven Havens (though I'll likely just binge SH separately once it's all out); the issue is that I've been watching so many ATLA reaction videos that rewatching it myself would be kinda redundant now
