I was interested whether Golden Gate finally fixed the fucked-up look of NavigationStack in sheets on macOS, and I'm happy to announce that now it's fucked up in a completely new way!

Dev-log: an event you blocked on another calendar showed up twice. Once as itself, once as a bare "Busy" row.
Two records, one meeting. The fix was picking which one is the original, and letting the block stand only when its source calendar is hidden.
Dev-log: Google Tasks stores a date. Never a time.
So when you drag a task onto 14:00 in hora, the hour has nowhere to go in Google. We keep it on your Mac and send Google the date it expects.
State you can't sync is still state you own.
For those that might be interested in trying this, it's now live on branch `2-0-4.system-permissions`
Things hora used to send you back to the browser for, and doesn't anymore:
→ your Google Tasks
→ booking a meeting room
→ finding a time everyone is free
→ proposing a new time instead of "maybe"
On a fresh install hora reads the settings you already have in Google Calendar. Week start, clock, default event length, hidden weekends.
It only fills in blanks. Anything you set in hora stays yours.
Coming to Cork `2.0.4`:
New workflow for granting Cork Full Disk Access permissions, to fix this problem: github.com/buresdv/Cork...
What do you guys think? Ever since I deciphered `Transferable`, I'm making everything drag-and-drop
#swift #swiftUI #macOS #buildinpublic #macdev #homebrew #CorkApp
Google Calendar can propose a different time to whoever invited you. Almost nobody does it, because it's buried and "maybe" is one click.
Most features don't fail on the idea. They fail on where they sit.
Biggest release since launch, and most of the work in it was closing gaps, not adding ideas.
Tasks, rooms, availability - all things people were already doing in the browser tab next to the app.
What else are they still opening the browser for?

You may ask, what happened to version 2.0.2?
That came out yesterday and was release 2.0.1 recompiled for Golden Gate. But a merge conflict overwrote double-click handling, so I fixed that quickly.
Happy Corking!
