For dragon form, that's often a whole day's affair. Some animal forms may be a little easier, but it'd likely still be a decent chunk of the day.

#InReverse: Meg is busy enough just figuring out how to live in reverse at first. Later, she'll take up writing.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 26, 2026, 1:25 AM

If it works as advertised, that is (I haven't decided yet, but the introduction of magic to the setting by way of crossover with #TheDragonblood might make that point moot).

And let's not forget Meg from #InReverse, who kind of... can't die? She's living in reverse, and can only be unborn.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 25, 2026, 3:51 PM

#InReverse: Whatever Meg wishes, she's headed back to a time period she's already lived through, the late 20th century when she grew up. She'd love more control over this, but those aren't the cards she's been dealt.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 23, 2026, 10:26 PM

She is also promiscuous and has a fair number of demigod children. Not defying the promiscuous bisexual stereotype, I know.

#InReverse: Meg's half-brother Daniel is bisexual. Meg herself is panromantic (and demiromantic).

#InReverse

How am I getting up there, then? I look up and see Harriet with a fire extinguisher. What is she...

Oh. I step aside before she swings it, and shards of glass fly up from the balcony where I was #standing towards the third floor window. Another swing and the window is completely fixed.

They just need a little time.

#InReverse: Meg is needing to adjust to a whole new way of life. Everything is backwards. She doesn't know her way around. And she can't see a way back to life as it was.

#MiwwduSitsomSelkieWIP: Naomi was lost in an amusement park once, abandoned in a whole new city.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 23, 2026, 12:15 AM

Any trials and tribulations I face along the way will have been calculated.

#InReverse: I'm assuming Meg is either using the Alphabet Board or finger spelling, because that's the extent of my ASL knowledge.

And I'm pretty sure she does not, in fact, have an idea.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 22, 2026, 2:26 AM

#InReverse: Let's give this one to Meg's mom, whose close-mindedness causes problems for Meg and the rest of the family. A very different kind of annoying.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 22, 2026, 2:19 AM

#InReverse: Meg has a shower.

I wake up, still in my clothes from yesterday. For some reason, my hair is wet. I grab a new set of clothes from the suitcase.

I encounter Harriet and ask her if I can use the shower. She nods and points me in the direction of the bathroom.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 22, 2026, 2:08 AM

#InReverse: Meg sometimes regrets not using the Time Reverser on herself when she had a chance, although it's not like she knows what would've happened if she had.

She has another tough moment ahead, where she'll act in a way she'll regret afterwards.

#AwesomeCharacters

#TheDragonblood is in Felix's first-person point of view.

#InReverse is in Meg's first-person point of view. But there's one scene late in the story that I've written in Harriet's point of view (you might know the one).

In fact, if they notice Aimetor's soul betraying less emotion than the average person, people might take that as evidence that Aimetor is using their soul-shifting powers to hide something.

#InReverse: People would probably come out of an interaction with Meg thinking something about her is weird.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 21, 2026, 5:15 PM

#InReverse: The story mostly takes place in Toronto, so Lake Ontario, certainly! But I imagine the characters have seen the ocean. And there's a scene that takes them to Vancouver.

(There's a chance I change the locations up, but I'll change how I respond to such questions then.)

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 20, 2026, 1:15 AM

#InReverse: Meg hasn't had a great life up to this point. She's given in to her mother at pretty much every opportunity. She was pressured into marrying a man she didn't care about. Somehow she fell in love with him anyway, which is the worst part, because then he passed away.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 16, 2026, 11:29 PM

#InReverse: Give Meg a hug! Her life's been literally turned upside down, and now she has to figure out a completely different way of living and can't go back.

#ThroughTheCracks: Nelly might use a hug. She's just trying to avoid forgetting herself.

Luis, Skylar's brother-in-law, too.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 16, 2026, 3:07 AM

#InReverse: Don't punch Meg or Harriet!

Meg's mom, go right ahead!

The guy who shot Meg? Well, we may get a little glimpse into WHY he did it eventually, so I guess you could consider holding off in case you find it redeems him? But it's not like I really care if you do it.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 15, 2026, 9:02 PM

Note that the story itself starts on page 6...

"They're you're next five die rolls," Sabrina confirms.

#InReverse: We're counting based on my Word document on my computer for this one, so way further in. Nothing super interesting.

I help her get down on the ground.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 14, 2026, 1:00 AM

But she mostly keeps it between them and doesn't really let it show to the common of Nemorians.

#InReverse: There's a rivalry between Meg's mother and Gem's family. Gem and her wife are not welcome at Meg's mother's household.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 13, 2026, 10:15 PM

And my initial work suggests an effect that I haven't accounted for in my story, so my depiction might not be totally accurate, but I need to double-check my work.

Now, #InReverse has a lot less attempt at realism. I don't believe I've depicted entropy accurately.

@miwwdu-sitsom.bsky.socialSep 13, 2026, 10:15 PM

This is how time travel works in #TheDragonblood, where we have a pair of alternate history worlds, even though time travelling in one leaves you in that timeline and doesn't change history.

Whether it works this way in #InReverse too isn't something that gets answered.
