Having a #Heliruna release party over on my discord server tonight starting at about 10 PM MST. Not sure what the plan is but I'll be doing a countdown until the book goes live and probably a live reading too.

Didn't post my book haul here but here's all the books I got over my birthday.
PS- 9 hours and 48 minutes until #Heliruna

Today's the daaaaay! #Heliruna comes out at midnight Colorado time! There's a countdown going on my website, not sure what it'll do when it hits 0 as I coded it myself and I'm not a very good programmer.

Happy Heliruna Eve!

This week is the week! #Heliruna drops Friday (or technically tomorrow night at midnight Colorado time/2 AM EST). You can pick a copy up here:

Loss or destruction of personal will is a big theme in #Heliruna actually. It's not from a parasite per se (actually, the argument could be made...), but it's definitely a persistent metaphor in the book. Loss of free will is perhaps the scariest thing. #HorrorWritersChat

TWO DAYS UNTIL #HELIRUNA.

I AM BOTH EXCITED AND NERVOUS.

THREE DAYS UNTIL #HELIRUNA! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

I saw an article that said 47% of authors admit to using generative AI, but my hot take is that 0% of authors use genAI because if you use genAI you lose the right to call yourself an author.
Anyways, 4 days until #Heliruna, my second novel written entirely with zero genAI.

I spent a good deal of time researching in-sink garbage disposals for #Heliruna. The worst part is I ended up cutting the scene.

My author copies of #Heliruna just came in!

5 days until #Heliruna!

That link will also be good for the paperback on Friday. 👀

Now watching 'The Thing' (1982) because my partner has only seen the remake. Also one week until #Heliruna.

I know the countdown says eight days but technically #Heliruna comes out one week from tonight!

We're in the endgame now.
Nine days until #Heliruna.

Amazon has sent me like six emails now saying "your book comes out next week! Make sure you've uploaded the right file!" Starting to make me question if I uploaded the right file or not.
10 days until #Heliruna!

Just to reiterate because a lot of people are still asking: no, #Heliruna is not a sequel to #TheWoods and you don't *have* to read The Woods first, but I still think you should read it because I'm proud of it.
12 days until Heliruna!
