Horrendous ! As we all look out for the hornets please be careful not to mistake a wood wasp for a hornet. They look very scary and are very similar to the asian hornets but are a harmless native species. www.naturespot.org/species/gian...

We have lots of heather (it grows well here 😂) and some herbs and alpines still flowering, #gardenstuff

It won't be September without the Rowan Trees, the blackbirds thrushes and finches, are making a good start on the berries, even little robin has tasted a few, but they have a way to go and plenty more Rowans when they have finished this one. #gardenstuff
