Today's really good harvest! 💚 My first flush of Wine Cap Mushrooms. So excited, this will be the first time I will try them!

This year, I've been blessed with an #abundance of fruit from my #permaculture #foodforest.
Figs, plums, apples, pears, mulberries, apricots, nectarines, grapes, cherries, sour cherries...
I've canned and dehydrated a lot for the winter.

Apples in my 'food forest'- style orchard. Many varieties, everything organically grown, without chemicals. This year, I've been blessed with an abundance of sweet, juicy fruits.

I'm a sucker for blue flowers. Got these at our local farm tour today. And we learned so much and made connections that just may open up some new things for the #foodforest creation here #OnTheCovenstead I'm as giddy as a kid at Halloween. #bloomscrolling #gardenstar

I am very happy with how well my first garden bed is doing in my Food Forest. Banana 🍌 corn 🌽 sunflowers 🌻 Nasturtiums, lemon myrtle, lilypilly, squash, Aloe Vera, marigolds, lavender, Queensland Arrowroot, Pigeon pea & Icecream bean tree

Spotting a new butterfly species in our food forest always brings a smile to my face. Small copper, first spotted yesterday.
