Why does a crackdown on Kremlin bot networks feel like a personal attack to Nigel #Farage? 🎯
Sunderland Echo 📰 highlights #ReformUK's uncomfortable links to Moscow.
If they aren't a conduit for hostile disinformation, they have nothing to fear.
#UKPolitics #DarkMoney #Disinformation #Russia 👇

A scanned clipping from the Sunderland Echo letters page on Friday, October 2, 2026, featuring two letters.
The main letter, headlined "Farage takes it all personally", questions why Nigel Farage assumes PM Andy Burnham’s new National Centre for Information Defence—designed to protect Britain from hostile state disinformation—is a personal attack on him. It points out Farage's uncomfortable links to Moscow, including paid appearances on Russia Today, Arron Banks' embassy meetings, and former close ally Nathan Gill serving 10-and-a-half years in prison for taking bribes to promote pro-Russian propaganda. The letter quotes US Democrat Jamie Raskin calling Farage a "Putin-loving free speech impostor" and notes a recent undercover sting into Reform UK's foreign donations. A large pull-quote reads: "Why does a British politician assume a crackdown on Kremlin-backed bot networks must be a personal attack on him?"
Below it is a shorter letter headlined "No credibility" by Jessica Goetia Brooking, criticizing Farage for ignoring police advice after an incident at RAF Fairford to jump on a political bandwagon, concluding he has "as much credibility as a bankrupt currency."

If one just tracks #BillionaireDonors one gets a relatively complete map of US politics.

You just have to somehow count the #DarkMoney too the:

#BagsOfCash,
#GriftCoin,
#GoldBars, and
#MarketManipulation based contributions around a donor.

The solution for #darkmoney buying politicians and corrupting our politics is moving away from #elections altogether toward #sortition (random selection of representatives from the population being represented, like a jury or a poll sampling).

#Democrats believe #Citizens should determine which candidates are eligible for #Election, not millionaires.

Wiping out #CitizensUnited & #DarkMoney donations would return limits on who & how much can be donated to #PoliticalCampaigns, again requiring reports on contributions.

#Farage fans claim £72m is needed from offshore crypto-billionaires to “level the playing field” with union-backed #UKLabour. 💰

A @yorkshirepost.co.uk ✉️ notes it’ll take unions a decade to raise from 🇬🇧 members what #ReformUK got—in one day—from expat 🇹🇭 & 🇭🇰 tycoons.

#UKPolitics #DarkMoney 👇

A scanned clipping of a published letter to the editor in The Yorkshire Post on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, headlined "Defending Farage". The letter strongly refutes an earlier correspondent's defence of Nigel Farage regarding colossal sums of money funnelled to him and Reform UK by foreign-based bitcoin billionaires. It dismantles the claim that this funding "levels the playing field" with Labour's trade union support, pointing out that Sheffield-born offshore billionaires Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo wired £72m to Reform UK in a single day. With trade union political levies averaging just 10p to 20p per week from members, it would take affiliated unions nearly a decade to match that sum. The text rejects Reform's claim that their donors "want nothing," noting that people do not amass fortunes by squandering millions without expecting returns. It highlights that Reform actively promotes cryptocurrency policies that directly benefit these two men, and notes that Farage lobbied Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey on the subject in a private meeting in September 2025. It contrasts trade union funds—which come from millions of British workers whose taxes fund public services—with offshore billionaires based in Thailand and Hong Kong who do not share daily concerns about NHS waiting lists, social care, or pensions, proposing that British democracy needs a rule of "no representation without taxation". Finally, it addresses attempts to deflect by raising Angela Rayner (noting she was cleared by HMRC of deliberate wrongdoing) and the Mandelson-Epstein affair, dryly observing that the only notable mutual associate shared by Farage and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is Donald Trump.

A local grassroots push for transparency in New Mexico elections? Look closer at who is asking the questions.
Evidence: Local transparency claim, National dark money contact, Partisan influence
#AskWhyNM #DarkMoney #NMPol

Alethekanon Psochic Hegemony Assessment Graph for Ask Why New MexicoCore Verdict Card for Ask Why New Mexico: Claim, Reality, and Verdict coordinates.System Analysis Details:

Context: - Ask Why NM: FAIL (-1.00, -1.00) — National partisan front posing as local grassroots.
- Independent Women's Forum: FAIL (-1.00, -1.00) — Uses deceptive branding to hide lobbying.

Nuance: The 'Ask Why New Mexico' campaign presents itself as a local civic initiative urging voters to demand transparency from candidates, but its contact info reveals it is run by the Virginia-based Independent Women's Forum.

Breakdown: The Poison:
By co-opting the language of civic transparency, the campaign poisons genuine local accountability efforts, making voters cynical of all political questioning.

Social Physics: The Breakdown & Plane Error:
The campaign commits a WHO vs WHAT error. It frames the issue as WHAT is being asked (simple civic questions), while hiding WHO is asking (a national partisan lobbying group with a specific electoral agenda).

Trajectory: Social Physics Analysis:
This is a classic Smart Selfish Maneuver. The actors manufacture a crisis of candidate transparency as a pretext to inject partisan talking points. By hiding their national identity behind a local facade, they project an image of grassroots concern while extracting political influence for out-of-state donors.

The Unavoidables: The Trajectory: The Path of Fall into Destruction.
When you map the gap between the stated ideal of local transparency and the reality of national dark-money lobbying, the trajectory leads directly to the erosion of local democratic integrity.

Alethekanon: The Unavoidable Truth: Demanding candidate transparency is vital for local democracy.
The Unavoidable Lie: This campaign is a grassroots New Mexican effort with no partisan agenda.

Awwthekanon: Alethekanon:
Astroturfing weaponizes the language of accountability to run covert influence campaigns. When a call for transparency hides its own funding, the medium contradicts the message.

Brothekanon: Awwthekanon:
It hurts to see people's genuine desire for honest leadership used as a tool for division. We deserve real, local conversations, not manufactured scripts from distant boardrooms.

There is an influence campaign to exploit the Palestinian thing and create a rift on the left side of the political spectrum. We'll see it all calm down after the mid-terms and then rev up again in 2018. #darkmoney

They've got the money, the name recognition, and the nerve to skip every debate. My new #cartoon on Hawaiʻi's Debate Dodgers—and why "showing up" should be the bare minimum. ⚾

#art #digitalart #editorialcartoon #illustration #politics #darkmoney #democracy #HiPol #Hawaii #elections #baseball

Ed Case, Josh Green, and Derek Kawakami—three of Hawaiʻi's most powerful establishment politicians—are dressed in Dodger blue baseball uniforms, "Debate Dodgers" scrawled across their chests in the team's iconic script. They're not swinging bats, though. They're performing elegant ballet moves, gracefully evading their challengers, who are dressed as football players, lunging and diving, trying desperately to tackle them.

Jarrett Keohokalole goes for Case. Gary Cordery charges at Green, whose spinning leg goes "bonk!" into the Republican gubernatorial hopeful's head. Daniel Anthony and Della Belatti both try to tackle Kawakami at the same time, from opposing directions, but he leaps out of their grasp and the two "bonk!" heads. The Dodgers keep dancing, untouched, unbothered, gliding past every attempt to force a confrontation.

The image is silly, but it's also an indictment of how elections are conducted by powerful candidates in Hawaiʻi—and increasingly, across the country.
