Our stellar late summer & early autumn for the migrant Vestal continued with this gorgeous raspberry & lemon individual this morning. What a brilliant run we've had locally, both here at CMO HQ & in our local grassy margins.

A rather nice looking Archips podana (Large Fruit-tree Tortrix) from the weekend. A wonderfully variable, rather chunky micro that's commonly found around much of the county. Rather nice checkered pattern on this one.
