Dennis Marschall and Zhang Huilin of Apex Predator Racing were declared the Saturday winners of China GT at Shanghai, after Red Flags stopped Race 1 before the halfway point. Climax Racing's Chen Fangping and Elias Seppänen made it a Ferrari one-two.

Ollie Millroy has five broken ribs, a broken collar bone, a broken hand and finger, and a bruised lung. He will go into surgery tomorrow to "put everything back where it should be". He doesn't remember anything from the thirty seconds before the crash and the one hour after it.
