I was lucky enough to be asked to ring in another quarter peal to welcome Laurence as Rector of Letcombe Regis today. I haven't rung here before so it was great to be involved. Someone else is posting to Belboard but I did see a photo of the band after ringing 1260 St Clements CB6 #bellringing

Mr has been over to Childrey tonight. They have new solar lights along the path. Some dodging practice, ringing up and down and PB5 practiced #bellringing

This weeks ringing to date has seen some decent plain courses of Grandsire and I've called some plain hunt on 5 #bellringing

Intimate practice this evening meant Roger practiced R&CC on 3 different bells. Richard (pic) practiced tenor behind for S5, G5 & PB5, ready for his 1st quarter attempt on Sunday. We also rang a course of Cambs 6 and PB6 for Duncan. Busy weekend of ringing coming up, so watch this space #bellringing

Thanks to our friends Mary, Richard & Helen (who stepped in for a poorly Gill), we rang all 8 for a wedding today. The service was a small one & after 2 well struck courses of both G7 & PB7 & getting the bells down, we discovered we were all alone and the church had been locked 😲 #bellringing

Loved ringing in the striking competition yesterday, in football terms we finished mid table #bellringing

Mrs Stedperson was keeping a beady eye on us and was quite content with the expert striking of this morning's 120 Stedman 5. She didn't care that the G5, Cambs 6 and PB6 were just as good #bellringing

Was asked to try Treble Bob Hunting tonight, not a bad first go #bellringing

Bob Doubles really good tonight, Grandsire a struggle but persevering and had a go ringing Treble to Little Bob #bellringing

Wow. 23 people at the monthly Branch Afternoon Practice at Brightwell today, including 3 Guild officers and 3 folks from out of Branch. We rang everything from R&CC to a half a course of Cambs 8. I'm off for a lie down after herding that lot, but I think folks enjoyed themselves #bellringing

Grateful to these guys tonight who rang and rang all night to help others. Call changes for 2 who are still trying to learn places, speed changes and who to follow. And 3 touches of PB5 so TW could learn to call & RP could tenor behind b4 his quarter attempt in 2 weeks. Thanks guys #bellringing

A little tired after last night so to save me thinking we rang alternating PB6 and Cambs 6 for service. Pic is of Dave who took the Cambs 6 so seriously that he had to take his jumper off. Back for 1/4 attempt later so bells left up, but Teifi led an epic raise 👏 #bellringing

So excited to have been to a special lady's special birthday party tonight. She had all her hobbies and favourite things put on her birthday cake, including #bellringing yay 😄 Thanks for inviting us, great evening

Mr and I were helpers today on a Branch training session on raising and lowering in peal held at Drayton. Everyone did so well and had the opportunity to ring up and down at least twice #bellringing

Fun little practice at Blewbury tonight where the boys were outnumbered being only Richard and Mr,in a room full of women. A few visitors so lots of relaxed demonstrations of rounds and a few goes for them on backstrokes. We also rang PB6, Stedman 5, Norwich 6, Cambs 6 and Grandsire 7 #bellringing

A few folks cancelled last minute so the plan I had made for tonight had to be modified. Thanks to these lovely fellas, Graham and Duncan, we did manage to get a reasonable course of Cambs 6. We also rang R&CC, G5 and Treble Bob Hunting. The Stedman 5 wasn't so great though #bellringing

There weren't many of us this morning but those who were there rang two 120's of Stedman Doubles, alternating with courses of Cambridge Minor. Very good standard of #bellringing
