Will #BBCR4Today please stop obsessing about the "Triple Lock". It's not a good look when overpaid journalists with gold plated pensions actively promote cuts to one of the meanest state pensions in Europe.

#BBCR4Today The outburst by #Argentine #PresidentMilei against #Britain over the #OilExploration off #Falklands is mis-directed - the companies involved are owned / controlled by #Israel

@britishpictures.bsky.socialSep 28, 2026, 6:23 AM

I've had enough of the presenters of #BBCR4today tying themselves in knots trying to fathom the mystery of why Donald Trump’s version of what happened at RAF Fairford differs from everyone else's. It's gone off and it's staying off.

@culturalsnow.bsky.socialSep 28, 2026, 6:07 AM

The word "Orangeman" is inherently funny. #BBCR4Today

@anothercinna.bsky.socialSep 26, 2026, 6:08 PM

...and why Nandy is charged with finally (sic) sorting the Licence Fee but for a BBC she declares as best at children's content, regional/local/ national news & priming the creative industries pump (as per #BBCR4Today @ 1h20m www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...). A watered-down #EducateInformEntertain?

An incredibly producer centric account of AI in broadcasting #bbcr4today Not even a hint of a mention that audiences find AI scripts and AI generated content a complete turn off.

@ianpatterson.comSep 25, 2026, 5:29 AM

Awful interview (by the interviewer) #bbcr4today again over sovereign AI. Such a nihilistic tone set for 'Britain cant do this we're too small'. Go do a survey around Europe - France is doing it, Portugal, Norway. So instead of asking Qs like this, ask why we arent? The debate framing is just wrong.

@ianpatterson.comSep 24, 2026, 5:21 AM

Unbelievable to hear the boss of Sage being so negative on AI capability in UK. #bbcr4today Didnt he notice that Deepmind began in London? Doesnt he notice the AI cluster around Kings Cross (for example). Doesnt he see the LMM work being done from UK already?

@marsflyerpaul.bsky.socialSep 23, 2026, 9:15 AM

And the #BBCR4Today coverage of Macron's remarks about Israeli genocide at the UN, only took the side of Israel being outraged, not the substance of Macron's statement.

Really shocking to hear Nick Robinson parroting far-right talking points about the government's worthy attempt to constrain Kremlin disinformation

I can see why Robbie Gibb would like that but it isn't appropriate for a public service broadcaster

#BBCR4Today

@ianpatterson.comSep 23, 2026, 6:38 AM

Disappointing of Nick Robinson to choose to waste time on Russian disinformation piece by going back to first base of 'does it even exist'. #bbcr4today Wastes time on an aspect that has long been taken as a given in UK. So many better places to start.

@britishpictures.bsky.socialSep 19, 2026, 7:26 AM

I see #BBCR4today is platforming some rich bloke moaning again.

@ianpatterson.comSep 18, 2026, 7:07 AM

It seems like #bbcr4today is spending around 2-5 mins in every hour talking about that Spencer book/gossip/ancillary events.
Cant stress enough how much I dont want to listen to this tosh. 5 mins in every 60 = 8% of the programme. Does anyone there have any sense of proportion

@ianpatterson.comSep 18, 2026, 6:47 AM

An unseemly interview by #bbcr4today with a line that, roughly speaking, was 'surely you have to delve back into records to 2012 to tell women impacted' when, as the Hospital chap said, some patients and patient groups say 'its so long ago wish you hadn't told me'. The lust for scandal came thru.

@lauraphillips.bsky.socialSep 16, 2026, 4:05 PM

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social interview with Rachel will stay with me. IMO #BBCNews @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social
#BBCr4today shd, in mission to be impartial(you can't be impartial if you present only a part of reality)speak to asylum seekers to understand their views.We're hearing only from UK residents.

@greenpartymolly.bsky.socialSep 16, 2026, 7:21 AM

Can't believe I'm hearing Justin Webb proposing 'performative' cuts to public spending

It's not for the BBC to suggest a new round of austerity

Nor for politicians to perform for markets

Their job is to make our lives better

#BBCR4Today

@ianpatterson.comSep 16, 2026, 7:00 AM

The Babcyam thing coming from the Letby public enquiry is an interesting recommendation. Who pays? And how many lives will it actually save? Baby murder in hospitals is a vanishingly rare problem, but someone is spending a billion (or whatever) on it? Being unemotional, does it add up? #bbcr4today

@anothercinna.bsky.socialSep 15, 2026, 8:05 AM

Jonathan Reynolds on #BBCR4Today calling for people "not to be hyper-bollock" (mediated on 9am news bulletin as "highPERbelic") and, for one, welcoming our robot overlords...👇

@trabimechanic.bsky.socialSep 15, 2026, 7:36 AM

A moving decision from the editors #BBCR4Today, to give a substantial segment to Alzheimers.

J@johnsears02.bsky.socialSep 15, 2026, 7:18 AM

#BBCR4Today #JustinWebb gives us an insight into his inspirations - #Trump, #BobMonkhouse...Odd pairing but both clowns
