Painting for this week's art project for @all4inclusion run by @disabled_life_2b_lived This weeks theme is Harvest.

I decided to take this in an unusual direction and looked at the harvesting of teeth, which has gone on since ancient times.

Early Beginnings: The Etruscans and the First Dentures
Believe it or not, dentures date back over 2,700 years. Around 700 BCE, the Etruscan civilisation in what is now Italy created some of the first known false teeth. These early dentures weren’t the sleek prosthetics we know today. Instead, the Etruscans used human or animal teeth and fastened them together with gold wire or bands to replace missing teeth for the wealthy and elite

ID For this week's theme I have drawn a Boot and made that into a building, thinking of the old woman who lived in a shoe as a theme - re done from when she was a young woman. There was a young couple who lived in a shoe, they had no children yet, so they got very passionate. watercolour and fineliner, ID Cherry red boot at dusk, the lights are on so the window are shining bright yellow, in the top window can be seen the silhouette of a young couple in an embrace. The sky is dark blue and the grass is dark green with patches o light on the grass from the reflection of the windows. Around the upper edge and leaves and part of a tree silhouetted against the sky xxx

Film and Media Studies student, living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and everything else that delightfully comes alongside it. As I near the end of my studies, I’m under no illusion that breaking into the creative industries will be easy.

ID For this week's theme I have drawn a Boot and made that into a building, thinking of the old woman who lived in a shoe as a theme. So far I have got the undercoat of the shades o the boot done and the sole of the boot. The boot also features random windows. I am still pondering if or what I should put in the background.
