Whirlwind Hellfire - Wielder of Hellfire -

Whirlwind was a victim to a dragon attack in her early years. Led into the forest alone by dragons who had been friendly to her and open for a friendship, Whirl was really being led into away from other eyes.

Then came the attack which had blinded her right eye and blasted with fire on her right side of the face after she stumbled back in shock.

Left for dead and laughed at for how “weak” and “easy to trick” she was, Whirlwind suffered the tears and hurt in her heart. She was found by a fellow pony not long after and taken to the hospital in one of the pony villages.

A betrayal of trust in non-ponies would seclude her. She never knew her parents, but she’s been suspected of being illegitimate royalty due to her wings and horn.

Her fillyhood after the attack was met with either mockery from other fillies or fear at her blinded eye and scars. She grew to hate socializing from then on, believing every pony is talking behind her back and see her as a freak because of what happened.

She became fascinated with fire, which she didn’t understand at first. Fire is what harmed her, yet something about the flames offered her comfort. Acting out she’d catch things on fire, watching the flames take over what it got to.

During this, her cutie mark came in the shape of a whirlwind fire.

In an attempt to correct her pyromaniac behavior, she was put into magic studies.

And this did keep her away from starting fires. But put her in a worse place mentally.

Wanting to become powerful and capable of defending herself as well as enacting revenge against her attackers, she found magic to be the perfect weapon.

It wouldn’t be long before she began to dig into dark magics in secret.

This slowly corrupted her mind, believing no pony could ever genuinely love her and looks sometimes given by her foster parents, made her willingness to accept she is the only one who could ever truly love herself.

His Eclipse, Her Sun

„Ce sunt eu pentru tine decât un muritor decorat cu iluzia importanței?”

“What am I to you but a mortal adorned with the illusion of importance?” - Draco

„Un muritor care îi îmbogățește pe acei puțini aleși ai iubirii tale împodobite. Soarele pentru eclipsa mea.”

“A mortal who enriches those chosen few of your adorned love. The sun for my eclipse.” - Calypsing

| She had never believed herself capable of stooping to the earthly expectations of love and companionship.

| Her mother is the Goddess Luna, whereas her father was once a mortal who farmed. A pony as simple as they come, who died of old age before she could ever get to know him. An immortal soul which she has, disallows her the ability of mortality and growing old with grace with that in which she loves.

| Or rather, what she could have loved as a father.

| Content with being The Bringer of the Eclipse and Guardian of her Goddess Mother, Luna and the ponies which she watches over at the night. Calypsing thought no further of a lover or a companion. Luna is her companion, and she watches over her daughter every night.

| This belief was challenged when she first got into official contact with Draco Dacian. The more she came into contact with the Crown Prince, the more she found a tenderness towards him. A man who has a hard shell, who is fearless and resilient in battle - has in his heart, a softness of his own -.

| Tenderness which she shares, she gets only glimpses back from Draco. Though those who know him through The Emperor and on the battlefield would dare not believe he could expel a tenderness.

| The Goddess Clementia watches over the Romans with forgiveness, mercy, salvation and many other things.

| It seems, that while he yet lacks full empathy. Clementia has granted him a visage to deepen it. While The Emperor’s warriors had been tasked to guide him toward a better mentality, it seems in his connection to Calypsing that it is her who broadens such missing links of empathy.

| Calypsing does not allow any mortal to see her without her cloak on. To see her without it, is seen as disrespect. For one to see her without it, displays a strong connection to a mortal and that they are important to her.

| Draco’s willful and fearless soul had earned the respect of the Demigoddess over time. He is not like other mortals she’s met, nor is he easy to read.

| Like other men she’d seen in the past, they seemed guided by basic instincts. Nothing in which stands out to her, they are led by man driven desires. In ways she understands is expected, and doesn’t necessarily fault all men for this. It’s a very mortal reality.

| Yet with Draco, he is different. His focus despite being a Warrior and despite being The Crowned Prince, is to his ponies and protecting them from threats. Humble yet fierce. Fierce yet honorable.

| Draco is not prideful of war, he doesn’t believe in the “glory” of war. It is a necessity in order to protect his ponies. He leaves empathy behind for his enemies on the battlefield. Regarding his heir to the throne, Draco does not view the Emperor’s Palace as a fortress for himself and to bask in the spotlight of riches open to him. A man whom is committed to lead and serve, one who once struggled to lead now does so with authority.

| To Calypsing, Draco is the mortal who is highlighted amongst other ponies. She values his will, his courage and his love for his ponies. Hallmarks of a future ruler that will prosper his kingdom - not exploit it and destroy its values -. Of course like any mortal he carries flaws, she knows this so for when she watched in the skies to see him begin his journey as a warrior and leader. He lacks core empathy, the ones it be reserved for are the ones most important. Yet, his inability to see the gray zone in the act of battle and war can tarnish his decisions.

Pepper Seeds! My first pony oc that I designed back in ‘23.

Born to a family who are in the food business, Pepper became familiar with the different cultures associated among the foods he’d watch and one day help to make alongside his parents and older brother.

His parent’s food did taste good, but there was always an underwhelming expectation when eating it. It doesn’t challenge the taste buds enough, it’s too safe.

As he got into his teens, came his discovery of spicy food.

He became enthralled and excited to make his own spicy food dishes. Though, afraid of judgment from his parents he kept this hobby to himself. Giving out free samples to other ponies, to see if they enjoyed the spicy taste.

To his surprise, they loved it. It was tingling on their tongues, made them tear a little. But the taste was great, packed with flavorful seasoning and a spicy pepper taste.

His talent for using spices gave him a cutie mark. His mane which was originally a dark had got it multicolored with green and yellow to match his love of spicy foods.

Pepper has a food stand, “Shaking Peppers”. He distanced from his family’s business to have his own, though his parents weren’t so approving in his methods of cooking. They couldn’t deny it was a success. Finding room to understand that something they don’t personally like shouldn’t mean that every pony misses out on their own tastes because of it.

——————

Facts:

His favorite type of peppers are: Jalapeño, Habanero & Shishitos

He’s asexual and prefers platonic affection.

He is a friendly pony, though awkward when it comes to carrying on conversations.

He is nerdy about peppers, loves to info dump on the many types of peppers. The texture, Scoville and overall taste.

Is unashamed to have a room with pepper decor, he loves the plush Shishito peppers lined up on his dresser.

Like his mane, Pepper is vibrant. Upbeat with life, and excited to share his love of spicy food with other ponies and make new friends along the way!
