#AlzChat The opportunity to gather leaves for pressing still creates a buzz of excitement among the families we've worked with who are living with dementia- This is a process of sorting, choosing, deciding, pressing leaves on sheets of paper beneath heavy books (or a press)...then making a collage.

#AlzChat This autumn activity is artfully messy but the results are pleasing! People enjoy the painted cones as table displays. You can add eco-friendly glitter for that extra special sparkle!

#alzchat very glad i managed to step in and say hello! I see there is still a time delay which slows us down… but glad to see ideas brewing to improve well being in seniors who are dealing with #dementia … sending positive energy to you all from my corner in Canada 🇨🇦

#AlzChat yes photo albums are fabulous for reminiscence - especially if photos are labelled or little stories / narratives are available. We try to avoid asking ‘ who is this?’ Or ‘testing’ persons memory. 🩷
