The alternative here is to notice that we're all living this city w/ a significant degree of intimacy, & that we could choose to literally sit down together, discuss issues of concern in good faith w/ each other, & then collaboratively work toward universally beneficial compromises.

It bugs me that some people have decided to take their frustrations w/ the federal government out on our local government.
