I feel like you maybe watched this one because I can almost hear your commentary on it but tonight's selection was another short, The Suitcase. This short film raises more questions than it answers, because who does all of this stupid stuff the protagonist does? #Movie22 #61MoviesOfHalloween

And my verdict on Cold Road is I liked it. The main character’s development over the course of the movie felt satisfying while staying realistic. Which, frankly, a lot of movies fail at. #61MoviesOfHalloween #Movie20

Tonight's #61MoviesOfHalloween feature is Cold Road - a woman on a long drive is menaced by a sadistic semi driver along a deserted patch of highway miles from anywhere. Rob Zombie's Halloween is not a sequel to Carpenter's Halloween, and it and its own sequel are not part of the Halloween franchise. Also, the Halloween franchise rule ignores the fact that some of the sequels ignore other sequels. For... reasons. #61MoviesOfHalloween @republicandalek.bsky.social

Alien vs. Predator is considered a spin off of both the Alien and the Predator movies, so would not count as a sequel. Evil Dead 2 can be considered a sequel because it's not truly just a remake. Army of Darkness is part of the Evil Dead franchise. #61MoviesOfHalloween @republicandalek.bsky.social

I have conferred with the Rules Committee and they have decree- er, decided that franchises will need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. So, the Child's Play/Chucky movies are considered one series of films. #61MoviesOfHalloween
