A stream passing thru Plumas Nat'l Forest in CA. Spent probably 2 or 3 hours at this stop, just exploring with no one around, no expectations, no responsibilities. Heaven.

An old homestead in the Verdugo mountains up above Burbank/Glendale. Doesn't look burned out, but definitely picked apart. The trail to/from has been cleared out a bunch over the years, when I first saw the chimney top from the main fire road it was a real trek thru the brush to get there.

It me. The Vasquez rocks are not a lonely spot by any stretch, but if you're lucky you can get there during a lull between Gorn fans.

African lions are the prototypical zoo animal, to the point of being a bit cliché. However, they can make laugh (a lot) when they act like enormous house-cats.

A late entry for my #BlueSkyArtShow post.

For me, my #3rdPlace has been the playground at the creek.

Being a full-time parent to a small child the last five years meant spending a lot of time there. It’s a special place.
