@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #366: Mean Girls
Traditions gonna tradition. One of the smarter of the Late 90s-Early 2000s Teem Comedy trend. I guess Tina Fey gave it that little boost along with a cast who continued to go places for year after the film came out. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #365: Digger
I am going to have to think on this. It's an amazing film, well shot, excellently acted. It's also on point with atomic precision. Tom Cruise hits it out of the park! I'm just... I can't even say half of what I'm thinking right now because my brain isn't there yet. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #364: Verity
Oh, this was deliciously fun! It has a bit of a formula to it but if you commune with your inner wine mom, you'll love it. I need more films with Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway just doing THIS! #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm # 359/Day 2.1: Happy Death Day
An absolutely fun time. It's far from perfect but Jessica Rothe keeps the film engaging. Honestly, I'm a fool for time loops and it doesn't disappoint in that aspect. #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #357: The Black Hole
More notable for it's historical reasons (Disney's first PG Film, revolutionizing special effects, first digitally recorded score) than for what it is: A fairly mid sci-fi film that is trying way too hard to be 2001. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #356: The End of Evangelion
It's a beautifully animated film. It starts as a war epic, a fight for survival, and an action film. And then things get beautifully weird, becoming an art film. And, honestly, it handles that transition so well that it's seamless and keeps you engaged. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #355: Evangelion Death (True)2
It's a recap and a very brisk one at that. It serves more as a reminder (and the occasional clarification) of the first 24 episodes of the series. Most of the additional footage has already been sewn into the series proper so it serves little purpose. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #354: Mighty Jack
It's a mostly forgettable film combining two episodes of a Toku series. It's hard to judge outside of its transformative status but it's kinda dull at times and, others, just constant explosions. Halfway want to see if the original is better. #2026Films
