ReGrandy → Rings 🌿

A simple VCV Rack patch with a surprisingly organic result. ReGrandy generates constantly shifting CV, while Rings turns it into resonant, plucked and physical-modeling textures.

In this VCV Rack patch, three SEQ3 melody rows are connected to a 4:1 Sequential Switch. A divided clock triggers the switch, cycling through the sequences automatically.

Since SHOAL is officially out now, I figured I'd share this patch again.

A gentle IDM patch built around a single sequencer — Shoal by Ormer Modular, an 8-track generative melody sequencer.

Wyrd is a playable sound-design instrument that can work as a standalone voice, external processor, or both at once.

A sound goes into Wyrd and starts feeding back, resonating and transforming itself into something completely different. Very Stockhausen

Berlin School Sequence — VCV Rack

A hypnotic Berlin School-style sequence made in VCV Rack with Arturia BeatStep and Vult Overon.
Just a random jam, but I really like where this one ended up

The story behind Overon is particularly interesting. Vult DSP spent around two years developing it, not as a circuit-accurate clone, but as an exploration of the ideas behind the SEM: a simple architecture, two oscillators, a state-variable filter, modulation, envelopes and VCA.
