#npiktober26 x #cringetober2026 day 11! Fruit and 2020 throwback.

Tfw you're stuck inside and so bake 10 bazillion fruit cakes in various forms.

Brittany from pikmin holds a loaf-shapped fruit cake over a gas stove, pleased with herself. In the background is a table littered in more loaf-shapped and muffin-shapped fruit cakes.

#npiktober26 late day four: team work. Inspired by my Pik 3 deluxe playthrough where I kept accidentally tossing Louie at enemies because my playstyle is mindlessly mashing buttons. I’m sorry louie

Day 11 of #npiktober26
Fruit

Traditional marker line art scanned and colored digitally. There is an apple with a slice taken out of it and a whiskerpillar is crawling out. Charlie, Alph, and Brittany are all on the apple slice.

#npiktober26 x #cringetober2026 day 10! Night and unpopular favorite.

I feel "unpopular favorite" can apply both to charas people just don't talk about and charas people hate so I did both. Molly and Oliwife! They're searching around for Olimar together.

Olimar's wife and Molly from pikmin are walking in a dark void. Both look nervous. Olimar's wife looks straight on while Molly looks up at her. They are surrounded by Glow Pikmin.

#npiktober26 x #cringetober2026 day nine! Dog and Incorrect Quote

How do I even caption this one, Louie lets his dog just do whatever man

Comic. First panel has pom on their back, terrifed as they shout "GET YO FUCKIN DOG BITCH" the second pannel has Louie peeking over the head of the Sirehound as he quietly says "he don't bite" just for a now crying pom to yell back "YES HE DO GET HIM OFF"

ITS A FUCKING OC AGAIN STOPPPP

Day 9 of #npiktober26

Day 9: Dog #pikmin #npiktober26 #dogsleadingdogs

Black text on an off-white background with a light gray border surrounding it. The text reads:

Captain Olimar and the Pikmin have something of an understanding.

If you asked Olimar, he wouldn't be able to tell you what it is. In fact, it'd be more likely that he'd ask you what you were talking about — and then he'd go back to being the only person to treat the Pikmin as more than just allies, but as his close personal friends.

If you asked the Pikmin — and you really could, if you wanted to try — you would get back a series of very abstract answers. It would take some time, obviously; you'd have to format your question in a way that they could understand, and they'd have to shape their answers into something comprehensible to you. But if you did all of that, you would get a vague but coherent answer back: if translated into plain language, it would be something along the lines of "we knew each other better once".

If you asked Moss, on the other hand — and I don't know why you would ask Moss, but I guess you could — she'd bark, and wag her tail, and if her bones were any younger she'd get up and spin in a happy circle. But she's an old dog; the only people she'd actually be willing to do that for would be Olimar and the Pikmin, and you can't really ask her why.

But that's exactly the thing, isn't it? You can't ask Moss what she's feeling, but for Olimar and the Pikmin, you can.

…And maybe that's all the commonality they need.
