hit 2 of my 3 goals this week! the only one i didn't get was my gym goal but i did walk a 5k this morning so i think that counts

the one i'm most excited about was doing something for CMI, i've got some pretty cool ideas for this next year too 👀👀👀

As planned, I plinked on 1661, added some money to my book fund, and renamed Percy to "Percy Richley" (at least for a trial run to see how I like it)!

In terms of estimated word count I'm slightly behind for my goal of chapter done by Nov 8, but that's a soft goal anyway~

Got through my big fics doc audit and got new ideas down 🎉 I didn’t get to the main books’ outlines refresh, though, so that is still top of list… After I finish my 3rd spooky season one-shot (personal challenge) since I got maybe a third through. This week has sucked. Monumentally sucked. I got nothing done writing wise and I'm not even going to be mad about it because I already feel terrible and sad enough

Goal achieved: I took the microphone out of the box! I even opened Audacity and recorded something. I still have a lot to learn, but I found some resources that don't seem too confusing and I have plans to do a series of short fiction readings for my Patreon by the end of 2026.

I think this week has been a warming success. I've gotten into a better swing of things w/o it feeling too much or too little, AND finished Chapter 2 of my WIP after a 3 year hiatus from writing it thanks to the motivation of #lgbtqwriteathon!!

hey #LGBTQWriteAThon 17, just revised & packaged up 3 chapters for my critique partners

#LGBTQWriteAThon Stuff kinda happened, but I was able to write the rest of Beeslingers ch 4, get started on ch 5, restart it and get a more solid beginning, and also edit/send out ch 3.

Still barely moved on the grad app or outline for Beehemia, though. But at least depression didn't beat me. Much.

#LGBTQWriteAThon I am so tired. It was a busy week full of delays and complications, and the 15th was hard for personal reasons. I have more gray in my beard.

But, I made it through. And things seem to be sorting themself out. Here's to hoping.

Mom got in a bicycle crash Monday and she’s clinging to life in the hospital. Serious head injury.

Sorry to be a downer, but that’s where Im at for the foreseeable future. 🤷‍♀️
Wait-and-see prognosis. Visiting daily. No time for much else.

productive! I overshot my goals at my mini-edit retreat and came home and finished text edits. I did a few of the top of chapter art/maps while away too, so I'm about half thru those now! I'm ahead of schedule on my end, just waiting for illustrations

Good! I finished 40-something trans dude phantom thief yesterday afternoon (91866 words), turned in my anthropology project (if I get a C on that, I'll be pleasantly surprised) and did more planning for NovNov (figuring out where my story is set.)

I'm satisfied with my progress. 👍

Well I set out the lofty goal of rewriting two scenes to match my adjusted plot line. I managed to get 2/3 of one scene written and it’s completely different from the original introduction scene. Good news is I like the new direction it’s going in.

This was a weird sort of vacation week where I didn't get a whole lot done (a busted laptop charger did not help), but what I did mattered:

- last 100 pages of SL WIP have been replotted
- good chunk of Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes read
- new glasses chain for Ren faire

Guess I forgot this yesterday.
