Hello #ScribesUnited

Today I'm editing the last bit of Wish (assuming my back cooperates) and continuing progress on my short stories. I hope to start writing the Halloween one tomorrow! Or maybe even today, we'll see how things go.

I also made a promo image in Canva just now 😅

Morning #ScribesUnited!

Thank you @elwolfsblood.bsky.social for making the morning post. I was sleeping in.

I will go to a local apple festival today! An author I follow will be there. I want to buy one of her books and have it signed!

And get some apples.

Good morning #ScribesUnited!
I don’t see a morning post so I’ll step up and make one.

How we all doing today? Whats on the agenda today? I hope you are able to make time to write on this beautiful Saturday!

I unfortunately have been a sack of potatoes after 4 hours of team practice.

But! I finally made it upstairs! So hopefully I can make a little progress on compiling the ToLaC Gwyn episodes into a single audiobook video before bed~

I've done ok today. Got most of the housework tasks done, only forgot one important one. Did a load of planning for writing strategy for the last quarter. Hit word count already, with 2 hours to go. And made 6 bracelets while bawling through AEW Dynamite. I'm calling it a win.

Write the initial scene to a horror short story. I might change the protagonist back to the original one. But I'm sleeping on it first.

PBBT.

Brain off due to flue-shot bleh sick. Got a little of editing done here and there.

Last night I did get some writing in. I'm very much a night-writer so we'll see if I can't push through some tonight.

#ScribesUnited
I finished my work day.
Played fetch with Luna (the dog)
Worked a bit on question 4 of @professoremily.bsky.social ‘s Conlangity (in my very sleep deprived state i feel like i was working backwards trying to explain the sounds)
No writing though
I’m too tired

I can quote posts.... 👀😅

Anyway. Hanging with my eldest. We are waiting for a game to update then, video games!

I fixed a section that had been a casualty of repeating information... in my defense, I started Resist as a serial, and the rehash was needed before I fused things.

I managed a 220 word intro to a short story, plus getting a bunch of organizing done to make writing it all easier. Might try to squeeze out a couple hundred more words tonight, we'll see.

Hello #ScribesUnited from 10EST and also my bed.
I wrote 242 words on Siren WIP. The MC now has a name. Nori.
I worked a shift at the tattoo shop but it was slow.
I ate properly today and may have even hit my calorie goal for the first time in a while.
4 ⭐️ day.

Omay #ScribesUnited, it's 7:00pm PST.

What did we get done?

Okay #ScribesUnited! We are halfway through the day: Pacific Standard Time!

So #WritersCommunity, how are we all doing?

I'm going to try to get another hundred words written on my rewrite tonight (and autocorrect decided that 'words' needed to be 'errors', which doesn't bode well for me)

Friday is my day off from work, which makes today marketing day. I might get to some writing. My eldest is doing their written exam for their license. Then we are *checks the year* going to the mall?

Got up, got overwhelmed, reset. Going to get the practical household stuff and all the planning bits out of my brain and hope that makes way for the creativity.

Tonight I shall finish a drawing of Dannie, and probably do some editing and polishing of a short story I wrote last year that I wanna toss on Itch next week. Off tomorrow so I can stay up extra late. :3

Good morning #ScribesUnited
I wrote the first scene of Siren WIP and then excitedly told my husband about it. He pointed out that my character is basically magic roofie-ing people… which I had to have a sit and think about for a while.

I guess this project is gonna be a little different.
