Swordtember Day 5
Decay
@zennydeer.bsky.socialDay 6: Noir
The Noir blade forged from a piece of void stone drinks the hue from the air around it, Once your hands grasp the hilt, it starts off subtle at first almost unnoticeable, before all color is gone from your sight. As it whispers to you to do dark deeds
@errantarts.bsky.socialSwordtember Day 6 - Noir: The Service Blade.
A cane sword fashioned from the scraps of an old revolver. A relic of your better days and probably still the only thing you can trust when out on a case.
@fungusthungus.bsky.socialDay 6 of #rbswordtember (Noir) The Case of the Sullied Shard!
At last this fine jewelry has been found, but AGHAST! It’s been used as a murder weapon in a heinous crime!

She told me it was a simple letter opener.
Considering what happened, I can only assume her husbands middle name was 'Letter'…
@regalbones.bsky.socialMurkwater you rascal how are you gonna get out of this one. #rbswordtember
@aciseartx.bsky.socialSwordtember ⚔️ Day 6: Noir
Surely no one expected me to see the prompt "Noir" and not do a Chat Noir inspired piece.

Inevitability:
A cursed claymore that subjects all struck by it to an accelerated form of the rot afflicting the blade.
No matter how much of the sword rots away it still cuts with its full length and weight.
@errantarts.bsky.socialSwortember Day 5: Decay - The Pox Hoarders' Cleaver.
Blessed by the most wretched of poxes, even the lightest graze from this accursed blade is enough to bring about an excruciating end.
@pepperedflakes.neocities.org5) DECAY. this one i took some creative liberties with by pulling from an aspect of the lore of one of my other creative projects. gist is that the "stone" of the underworld in the setting spreads like a fungus, slowly turning lost souls caught unaware into statues

@fungusthungus.bsky.socialFor the 5th day of #rbswordtember
(Decay) here’s The Reclaimed Wooden Sword. There is a sect of warrior monks who use enchanted wooden blades, they give these blades back to the forest when they feel their purpose has been fulfilled.
