We went on a tree / seed collecting walk in a nearby village this morning.

I was surprised how many mature field-boundary trees had been retained on this new housing development. I wish more would do likewise. 🌳😊

Green Sandpiper Stalking

These birds forage on shorelines, probing the mud with their long beaks. They're not too disilimar from Common Sandpipers, which are interestingly less common.
