As for the sister, Lum tells them to give her a seed that'll wrap vines around her...

...I keep seeing signs saying I should get Overfiend next year for some reason...

...and ground her during the fight. #UruseiYatsura

Lum sees where everything's going and bails...until Ataru is taken hostage by the brother lover's mother...so nwo Lum is gonna give the brother a seed of a sunflower that's supposed to boost the guy's strength. #UruseiYatsura

"I didn't know he was such a powerful man!" ...that was the sister seeing her brother in the suit...right...

(Goes to get a soda)

What? I don't drink. #UruseiYatsura

2. We already have a funny Brother/Sister conflict without the creepy with Mendou and his sister, and later on with the Kunos. #UruseiYatsura

Usually when anime treats paring like this serious it's...well, either the people involved are fucking psychotic (Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer's twins) or you get a crap title like Angel's Sanctuary. #UruseiYatsura

So...I wanna get this out of the way now, there's two reasons the brother/sister incest eps don't work. #UruseiYatsura

Well, Lum...I think...convinces the mom to have the sister and brother fight a duel and if she loses, she can never go after him again. The brother...feels like he can't bring himself to do the duel...

Thankfully, the suit has a remote function. #UruseiYatsura

We open at the estate of the brother lover and her family and...

Look, why does the mom let this continue if she knows her daughter is fucking insane?

(Sees her beat up her son)

Oh, right. That. Well, this leads her to talk to Lum...for...some reason... #UruseiYatsura

Yeaaaaah...
I think I'm gonna check out a bit with this episode.

Up next...*SIGH* Yeah...we got the return of the brother lover...some yahoo with veggie energy is wanting to beat Asuka in a fight.

It's the brother, of course it's the brother, WHY WOULD I EXPECT THE JOKE TO BE MORE THAN ONE NOTE!? "Asuka Vs. Her Big Brother! A Battle Of Love!" #UruseiYatsura

MAN that was a lame punchline! The ep was average, fine...but...MAN, was that a lame punchline.

(Sees what's next)

...there's a reason I'm not calling this ep bad... #UruseiYatsura

Lum tries to make up for the soap...by supergluing Sakura to the guy...and the only way to get rid of it...is the soap...

Ha. Ha. Ha. #UruseiYatsura

Sakura tells him what happened...

"Are you making fun of me?"

...and he's a fucking idiot...complete with falling for Ataru's bullshit...

I'm kinda with Ataru now, what the frak does she see in this moron? #UruseiYatsura

Lum and Sakura get their soaps mixed up and the good news is they realize it right after.

The bad news...its' right after as now Sakura is too damn slippery for ANYBODY to touch....but at least she lands NEAR her fiance! #UruseiYatsura

It turns out Lum was making, well as you ca guess from the title, soap. Meanwhile, Lum and Ataru agreed to do tennis with Sakura and Cherry.

(Sees how many times Ataru and Cherry can be beaten up)

I suddenly love tennis.

(Sees Sakura in the shower) I REALLY love Tennis. #UruseiYatsura

I wonder about the viewership ratings for this episode for...reasons.
#UruseiYatsura #LUM #ThoseObnoxiousAliens #Episode182 #AnimeRetroRewatch @digiranma.bsky.social

So, Lum's making something and is told to ad a spoon full (Downs the whole bottle into the bowl), don't whip it (Ship is surrounded by cream), and boil it (It is currently evaporating). #UruseiYatsura

Well, Sakura has hit "Anger makes you stupid" and missed punching Cherry (Though got him REALLY good with a thick book) and it causes her to think that maybe she needs to work out the stress a bit more. #UruseiYatsura

Cherry pops up to warn her that, yeah, all those perverts together can possibly be responsible for why Sakura's love life is crappy...but her own rage might be responsible, right down to her seeing things. #UruseiYatsura

Third...wouldn't the gag be funnier if in response to Ataru saying he cut Sakura's string 199 times, we see the Stormtroopers and Mendou cutting Ataru's red string to Lum the 198th time? #UruseiYatsura
