This is inhuman!
Renda is obsessed, and now, a cock blocker!

MELON MASSACRE
MELON-GEDDON
She is that rare thing in a Charles Bronson movie; a woman who isn't used as some cheap motivation (via murder and/or rape) for our hero to do some revenge killing.
In fact, she gets in on the action in a while!
Is that all of his melons ....... How much would that bring in.

I like Nancy in this.
Tough, no nonsense.
Stunning.
This film has two great tiers of overconfidence. Koslo's Bobby, thinks he's king shit, until he gets his nuts pureed by Majestyk and is dismissed completely by Renda.
Then Renda. Well, he can't leave well enough alone, can he?
I think the thing I really enjoy about a lot of Elmore Leonard's villains is, they're very full of themselves, inflating their own reputations as scary guys, single-mindedly overconfident, which always leads them to their demise.
In the books, they're his most compelling characters.
Kopas getting too big for his britches..... Honestly thinks he's on this guy's level

Paul Koslo, such a SLIMEBALL.
I do enjoy these 70s crime dramas - Charlie Varrick is probably my favourite. #sundaycinema
Majestyk blunders, Frank Renda the big scary hard man is on the loose and could just bugger off out of there. He COULD.
Because he's been emasculated by the small fry melon farmer though, he won't.
"He's kinda weird, isn't he?"
I only know him from a very oddball (but good!) Michael Caine film called Pulp #sundaycinema
Wiley's here!
(Can you trust a hitman?)
Look at how he converses with the shopkeeper. Bardem could never. Love love this man.
