#KDE #OpenSource

I'm gonna be more financially stable soon. And I was thinking about putting some of my money each month towards some open source projects, but honestly, if #kde continues with the pro ai garbage not only will I not be doing that, I'll be discouraging others from doing so as well

Hey uh @kde.org, can you please say something about this? Seriously though! What the fuck?! #KDE #Foss #floss #opensource #linux

I'm not quite sure what to make of all of the #AI & #LLM chatter related to #KDE at the moment. I'll try and keep an eye on it, but it's making me reconsider #Budgie on my #Solus #Linux installs. Not having much luck at the moment finding info on Budgie's AI policy. Need to keep digging.

And now it seems #KDE wants to find a way to embrace #AI convincing people that they shouldn't think about the very real life threatening world ending consequences of the AI economy, they shouldn't judge.

I have a bad feeling about #KDE...

KDE Second most known face only talks and praises other projects now.

Nate is "compromised" like he to admit or not with his company. I'n deeply suspicious about the push for #Koko over #Gwenview, an insane decision.

An amazing talk by Scott Jenson, and so refreshing to see people talking about this stagnation! Highly recommended

I watched this "#KDE as an #AI native desktop". And that was a poorly chosen title.

A better title would have been "how can we use local language models to interface deterministically and safely with user defined scripts".

Which you'll concede is not nearly as blood pressure raising...
