She had the romantic thought that it would be an adventure—a Robinson Crusoe kind of thing.

But the reality. Schlepping groceries, intermittent WiFi, and emptying toilets weren’t for her.

She hammered the For Sale sign into the ground and said adieu to the #island. #vss365

The #island was only there for three hours. It appeared with a flash in the pond down the road. There were clowns juggling pastries and monkeys playing guitars. Fireworks made fighting dragons way up in the sky. When it sank back below the water, I smiled. I'll remember that for a long time.
