@shitpom.bsky.socialThe #Omarchy doctrine:
Unite the nerds (except lgbtq and people of color)
Have some fun (debugging sec issues)
Beauty is truth (ignore my ugly font)
Heritage is duty (whatever that means)
Command is service (great way to include non-tech people)
Welcome the agents (they will crash all the time)
@orionkidder.mas.to.ap.brid.gy#Framework laptops are now off the table since they financially support #Omarchy, the fascist slop distro.
New plan: used #MacBook, via #eBay, with the #Fedora remix of #AsahiLinux so that I can run #Gnome DE.
If anybody has any advice about this, I'm open. :)
@williamcanin.bsky.social#Omarchy — a "distro" that claims to be aimed at developers but comes packed with bloatware and irrelevant stuff a developer wouldn't even use. It’s all pure hype—and terrible hype, at that.
Less is more. KISS.
@dataprolet.bsky.socialTime to cancel your @digitalocean.com. They're funding #Omarchy now too.

@cedrickrier.bsky.socialLooks like #omarchy funding is a good indicator for tech companies to avoid
@tky.ioOof. #DigitalOcean joins #1Password to fund DHH’s #Omarchy . So much more deserving software out there to fund without the reputational stain. What a shame.

@galvao.phpc.social.ap.brid.gyLaunch a "linux distro" heavily based on vibe coding and dumb marketing. What could possibly go wrong?
