Relians would be a dagger. Very simple. But visceral.

#Octember Suuuuuper late reply, but I wanted to Do An Art for this one!!! Except, it's not going to make much sense to anyone except me, but trust me, it's very sweet 😭

Omega, the Masculine Child-bearer
Probably a raven for Ivar. For Ruxandra, a wild cat of some sort.
Wren's star sign is the dagger. 🗡️
People born under this sign are resourceful, clever, and slow to trust. The only thing more unbreakable than their loyalty is their desire for revenge once they've been crossed.

Vola's would be the Shears of Therantus thr god of dreams who became the god of Knowledge.
Nats is The Cat. A nameless constellation that chases The Rat around the sky through the year.
I couldn't resist this #Octember q, since stars are critical in No Sky Like Midnight.
Existing constellations: Leo is Ophiuchus despite his name (he bears the serpent), & Paige is Cygnus (she's an ugly duckling).
Invented: The Fiery Snake for Leo & The Mink for Paige.
I could be a little shit and look up the constellations as they were in the sky the night Kori from Coven Thing was born but I'm far too lazy to do that.
Algol, my vampire, was actually named for Algol, the Demon Star, which is part of the constellation Perseus. Can that work? Sure.
According to expert research (er, something posted on Reddit) the famed "second star to the right" mentioned in Peter Pan is likely Alpha Cephei of the constellation Cepheus, so that seems a good option for Dido given how important a character from that story is gonna turn out to be to her

Oh jeeze I haven't really *mapped* constellations yet but Lu and his siblings (and Stella) are all named after stars/constellations that match their flame colors
There's a really soft scene where Lu and Sorrel are stargazing and he points out two of his sisters stars. ⬇️
#Octember 8. Character constellations?
Meghan's would be in the shape of a guinea pig & it would be positioned closest to a line of stars that look like Timothy Hay.
Tabatha's constellation would look like a square to some but it would be a weed brownie.
Aaron's would be a knife & blood drop
Lots of thoughts for this one!
I tried, but it turns out I do not know how to draw on my phone!
Marcus and Rune would have this two-part spiral constellation. Marcus starts at Earth and swings up, Rune starts in space and swings down. They come together in the middle, organic and artificial as one creature.
Given the pyrean obsession with stars, they almost certainly have constellation signs associated with their namingday/clanschoosing, though none of them would be recognizable from Earth.
Sven's constellation would be some sort of weasel. Alan's is a winged serpent.
I know absolutely nothing, so making these up.
Wyd: a serpent with a forked tongue
Feylie: a centaur with horns
Simon: a sextant
Reena: cupid with a bow and arrow
