selfie of me wearing my helmet on top of my sunlit face. hi viz jacket over my black sweater and I got my blue headphones (Sony wi c100 that I like) bumping tunes in my ears. i am on the side of the cycling path next to a wide 1+1 lane road with split median. This road was improved by a lot last year and the cycling path got an upgrade in protection from 30 cm of paint to 1 meter of grass. way better. we see a bunch of houses along the road behind me.

my view, the sun not far above the horizon. a blue cloudless sky. the sun coloring everything gold. i am still on the cycling path next to a wide 1+1lane road with a median (grassy where possible, concrete with fake bricks/rumble strip texture, where necessary). there are fields, houses and a big furniture store parking lot along the road.

The back of the trike with passenger seating for four, as described in the original toot. This was taken at Burke Gilman and 25th Ave NE, waiting for the crossing north. The step up to the platform for seating is visible here, it's basically two steps to get up to the seating level.

an older guy in a grey coat biking a trike with passenger seating over the rear wheels for probably four on Burke-Gilman near University Village. The seat benches are padded in a dusty mauve vinyl, atop a flat-panel steel structure with black iron or steel (probably) railings. It looks rather homemade but that seems unavoidable with such a contraption and for such a thing also seems pretty reasonably done.
