Pike County in southeastern Alabama... * Until 330 AM CDT. * At 1255 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Gauges reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Geneva, Samson, Kinston, Coffee Springs, Sellersville, Spears, Marl, Lytle, Logan Field Municipal A/P, Marvin Chapel, Pera, Ganer, Chancellor, Weeks, Lucile, Earlytown, Vaughanville, Holley Store, Somerset and Geneva Municipal A/P. Even though rain has nearly ended, small streams and creeks will continue to rise quickly as water makes its way downhill and downstream.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
