My half reanimated WIP WitchKin Hollow was supposed to be extremely fall based. There was tons of mention of apples, pumpkins and the harvest. Even a spooky dream sequence of rot and ruin creeping into a land from inside the pumpkins.

It just puts me in the mood to write/ watch/ read horror and spooky things. The colors and weather make me want to paint (with words or paint, either works). I want to create things that dance with the joy my heart does whenever Autumn falls (heh).

#TBBChat I wind up setting a lot of stuff in autumn, or I make my characters' birthdays in autumn. If I want a scene to really land, sometimes I'll make sure that the timeline allows me to place it in autumn, or very close to autumn. I love closing out endings in late autumn/early winter.

I grew up as a summer kid. On break, free time galore, and New Jersey never suffered from triple digit heatwaves (that I remember)

As I’ve gotten older and spent more time working, I’ve become fonder of fall because of Halloween and the pretty colors of leaves

A2: I don’t have a favorite season. But I do prefer that sweet spot between Spring/Summer and Summer/Fall.

It’s only like a few days each but to me it’s wonderful.

I love it because it's spooky season, the air crisps up, the leaves become explosions of colors. I can go outside without dying of heat.

I love autumn! When I was a kid, I lived up in North Dakota and I loved watching the leaves changing. Fall scents, fashion, the coziness and spookiness.... all of it is so good!
