#NowWatching: Arachnophobia (1990)
I've never seen. I'm probably not going to do a big LiveSky review; I'm just getting smoked on the weekly movie logs, and need to crush some #films on #ReelRank π½οΈ

Next up in Resident Evil is Part 4. Afterlife. From 2010 and Paul W.S. Anderson returns to direct. He directed the first one then only wrote the next two. Since Humanity was all but extinct Im not sure where this is going. #Filmsky #Reelrank #Horrorsky #Letterboxd
In light of Nicolas Cages recent comments, which is both technically and objectively correct, that the MCU is basically a glorified WWE, I moved my thoughts on Rocket Raccoons push to the upper mid-card in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 to @reelrank.net
#Nowwatching The third movie in the RE series, Resident Evil Extinction which is also the first of the ones I have not seen before. All the ones going forward are new to me starting with this one. From 2007. D:Russell Mulcahy. #Filmsky #Reelrank #Horrorsky
Trying out the new @reelrank.net features...and this is a good representation of how it's going so far.
It would honestly be kinda weird if you were on #ReelRank, and didn't follow ReelDevil (Tanner), imo π€·ββοΈ
It'd be like skulking around in his backyard and playing on all the play equipment without making eye contact with him or his family, just in a digital sense π
We follow the adventures of Alice in Resident Evil: Apocalypse as she continues her fight against the Evil Umbrella Corp. This time in Raccoon City. From 2004 D: Alexander Witt #Filmsky #reelrank #Horrorsky #Letterboxd
We're all watching Tremorses π€
To finish out Series September since I completed my goal of Star Wars, lets finish up with another Series I have seen a few of but not all. The 2002 Resident Evil movies. Starting with the first. D: Paul W.S. Anderson #Filmsky #Reelrank #Horrorsky #Letterboxd
Having watched the first Puss in Boots back in July of this year and having seen all the Shrek films figure it is time to finish it off with 2022's Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. D: Joel Crawford & Januel P. Mercado. #Filmsky #Reelrank #Letterboxd
OH, SHIT! π£οΈ
@godjester.bsky.social just leveled up the badge game on #ReelRank. I see that shiny, gold ring you got, playa π€©
Everyone go follow GodJester on ReelRank: reelrank.net/u/GodJester
Iced out, looking like a rap star π€
I think the #NowWatching marquee and the Popular This Week panel on #ReelRank do such a good job of showing off how erudite and cool we are π
The assignment is, despite me being someone who loathes IP & sequels (and who thinks #Tremors is the perfect film that should never have had a sequel, much less 6), I have to watch Tremors II: Aftershocks & find some reason to love and/or recommend π€

I'm *very* hopeful for #ReelRank fwiw. There's no corporate $ or any of the BS that comes with all that. We're building it from the ground up, and it can be beautiful and good, and we never have to give in to corporate/monopolistic interests or seek ad-buyers (no ads!).
That's why I'm hopeful βΊοΈ
They're poised to become the next IMDb over the next few months. It's one reason I started looking for another platform and found #ReelRank in the first place. #Letterboxd is doomed, and they're begging to hasten their doom, too. Tiny's investment 5xed, & they're SO eager to screw their users for $
