Morning reports tell us at least some of yesterday's orcas stayed overnight. Based on locations likely Bigg's, but J pod was off San Juan Isl. last night, if Js didn't head west maybe they'll show up too 🧚.

17:08 - the orcas reported at the north end of Pickering Passage/North end Harstine Island. Northbound [WA app]

15:45 - Ts were about 3/4-1 mile north of Harstine Bridge northbound on east side of Pickering.

15:59 -video showed them grouped up in resting mode as they traveled north.

🩶 Orca reported in Rosario Strait

13:33 - report of one orca (at least) in Rosario somewhere. Observation was pinned on shore at Washington Park, Anacortes so within view of there. No direction included. [WA app]

13:55 - I saw one orca logging (floating with fin and bit of back up but not actively moving) at 1:55pm in line with north tip of Fox Island but closer to KP [Key Peninsula] side. [Amelia via ONCG]
