I have a long list of things I'd like to try out. I'd love to do a webcomic (some artistic skills would be useful for that). I've also always wanted to do a horror novel. I'm not great at writing nasty stuff, but would like to do something about bad things happening to bad people

I'd love to do a solid mystery/thriller, but I think I'm too easily distracted by romance and relationship-focused narratives. I *know* you can do both, but I don't know if I can do it justice. And that's not a dig at myself either, I just think it's too far from my wheelhouse.

#LateNightWrite animation! I would love to be able to bring my stories to life in a more visual way, and the art form is so so cool to me. I just haven't had the mental or physical energy to learn a whole new discipline

#latenightwrite Hi, I'm Steph and I write urban fantasy. Lately my writing's been drifting casually into horror, kinda cosmic? I both love and hate trying to tease out juuuust enough description of creatures that should defy understanding.

Hi #LateNightWrite! For once, I am awake late enough to participate.

I'm still new to this author thing, so I haven't written in many genres yet but would be happy to explore each one that interests me! One particular genre I love that would be really fun to explore is historical fantasy.

I mixed it up a little in the opener of CG, with snippets of Kai's memories opening each chapter until part 2.

I don't really have another medium I'd like to try; mom was a painter and taught me a lot about art so I know it's not my area. My brother does music...

Different genres... I want to write something inspired by the anime I grew up watching, apparently. Or maybe try my hand at a litrpg.

Different mediums? Horror podcast. Or a video game or two, one tactics, one dating sim. Zines. A TTRPG.

I just don't know where to start with them.

Re: medium, I would LOVE to create a visual novel someday! I've done some preliminary research on how to make them and can tell it'll take A LOT of work, but I think it would be so cool. I love the idea of the reader 'building' their version of the story with the pieces I provide.

meanwhile once upon a time I said I'd NEVER write mystery bc I'm not smart enough, and guess what I drafted and partially revised in 2023

(I do not say "never" about writing anymore)
