The #Avs trail by one heading into the break.

The good guys give up three goals in the second, including a pair after retaking the lead, to a Toronto team that now has a lot of momentum going into the final frame.

1:33 of penalty time left.

Regroup and reset. #GoAvsGo

#Leafs #PassionNeverSleeps @ #GoAvsGo — SECOND PERIOD:

4-3 TOR

TOR COL
12 SOG 25
20 HITS 19
1/2 PP 0/3
6 PIMs 4

The #Avs are trailing 4-3 after the 2nd

The d-zone lapses have resulted in multiple goals-against. They need to clean that up.

Some big saves would also be nice. 5 high danger chances against - 4 goals. Yikes.

Let's get that comeback victory! #GoAvsGo

Toronto goal!

Scored by William Nylander with 03:13 left in the 2nd. Assisted by Auston Matthews and Nick Paul.

COL: 3 | TOR: 3

That was a rough second period for the Avalanche, who entered leading but now trail 4-3 to the Leafs. Lots of missed opportunities and blown defensive plays have put them behind. Toronto only has 12 shots on net. Have to be better on both ends of the ice #GoAvsGo

Makar is innocent!! #goavsgo

Can’t play shitty defense with a mediocre goalie behind you. Put Wedge in or play better defense.
#GoAvsGo

Just after Makar was robbed, he is called for a cross checking penalty near the end of the second.

Just not a good period for the Avs #GoAvsGo

Makar gets called for cross checking, and the #Avs head to a late penalty kill. #GoAvsGo

end of 1st, tied at 1: Nabokov looks great for his first B2B but they are putting pressure on the crease. The game is not nearly as physical as last night, more speed tonight. Brindley is hungry for goal and it shows. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Cowan puts the #Avs down by one.

He was all alone in the far face-off circle, and his shot squeaked past Blackwood.

Can't let that happen so quickly after giving up a tying goal. #GoAvsGo

what the hell Avs 😡 another goal by the Leafs and all of a sudden it's 4-3 bad guys. #GoAvsGo

Easton Cowan has grabbed the lead for the Leafs. 4-3 #GoAvsGo

Nylander ties the game at three.

He was wide open for the pass from Matthews and he beats Blackwood to tie the game again. #GoAvsGo
