The film you get, isn't always the first one you see. Enigmatic huh? Well, allow us to introduce Sarah Arnold's Too Many Beasts.

Vertiginous's Lo-Fi and Low-Poly Sci-fi Existentialism is about as on brand as a director like Quentin Dupieux gets, which is to say the man is impossible to second guess.

fantastic fest break for the new NATURAL STAR NANI blockbuster then the last day of an incredible #fantasticfest
Girl in the Night is not a film for everyone. It has lots of awkward moments and tons of deadpan humor, but it's also a clever commentary on modern life. It just won Best Feature Film at #FantasticFest. Here's our review.

#FantasticFest closing night film THE SWALLOWS is "the quicksand movie" but without spoiling too much, it's closer to something like a monster movie. A monster has intent, intelligence, and can physically move. So, not-quicksand. Five party zoomers with no cell reception don't stand a chance.
#FantasticFest SICK is one of my favorites. It's hard to categorize because it's original. And that's what I came to see: movies with zero commercial appeal, but will leave a crater-sized impression in your future memory. True arthouse. The movie explores the relationship between teen siblings
That’s a wrap on #FantasticFest 2026! Eight glorious days of good movies and good friends. I’ll miss you nerds. Take of yourselves and each other.
Until next year…
Interviewed the director & co-star of #fantasticfest feature COMPLIANCE for @starburst.bsky.social. youtu.be/e2TxVeAYmNs?...
THE SWALLOW: A quicksand version of The Blob meets The Ruins, plus a whole lotta SYFY Original energy. You’d think that would work for me, but boy it didn’t! Never hopped on its goofy-serious-wtf wavelength. Not even SFX by the legendary Tony Gardner could pull me through. #FantasticFest
SWALLOW is atrocious. A new low for a #fantasticfest closing night movie.
Now seated for The Swallow #FantasticFest

SICK. A long summer at grandma’s gets weird. Very weird. In a taboo-breaking, genre tilting way.
Certainly an experience. More of a crowd rouser than a pleaser. Probably the most bodily secretions I’ve seen in a movie at #FantasticFest
THE SQUIRREL is a lovely Finnish utopian/dystopian comedy/drama in which a man in an anodyne and sterilized future city finds a real squirrel where no other animals exist. Plays out very naturally from there. Great reflections on nature & humanity. The sweetest film at #FantasticFest this year.
#Godmother is sharp, sinister, and crowd-ready. Dee Wallace and Bruce Davison turn sweet senior hospitality into pure High Desert menace, while Paige Evans delivers a breakout final girl performance. A nasty, twisty Fantastic Fest horror ride. #FantasticFest
